Football Coaches and Staff:
Head Coach: Wayne Stilwell (see more at Board of Directors)
Wayne has a deep desire to coach and inspire Godly young men through the NVHAA Centurions football team. His greatest desire is to teach young men that our strength is in the Lord, and that our prize is eternal salvation beyond earthly accolades. Wayne emphasizes a positive, clean environment of mutually supporting team members and a lunch-pail work ethic. He demands the best from each player and expects each to finish his high school football years much stronger in mind, body, and spirit. “Our preparations, though they may take us to football fields on higher levels, are really about the challenges of manhood and leadership, now and in the future.”
Offensive Coordinator: Bobby Belton
Bobby was born in Columbia, South Carolina. He started playing football in the 7th grade and continued through his freshman year at Charleston Southern University. Bobby played multiple positions on offense and defense, including wide receiver, running back, quarterback, cornerback, and safety. After his freshman year, he transferred to the University of South Carolina and graduated in 2001. In that same year, God blessed Bobby when he married the love of his life, Yolanda. Their blessings have multiplied with four wonderful children. Bobby came to a saving knowledge of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in 1998, and was called into the preaching ministry in 2003. Licensed and ordained by Trinity Baptist Church in Columbia, SC, he served as an Associate Minister until relocating to Virginia in 2012. Bobby currently attends and serves at Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Warrenton. Bobby is excited to get back into coaching the game that he loves, and is looking forward to seeing the young Centurions grow physically and spiritually.
