NVHAA Basketball 

2017 JV Boys Basketball Team

 

 

Pending Registrations, NVHAA will provide Boys Middle School and JV basketball teams during the high school winter season. Based on facility and coaching availability, NVHAA also plans on hosting Girls Basketball Open Gyms or Girls basketball teams. Registration information can be found at the registration page.

Basic Information (subject to change):

Season: Early Nov to Mid March 

Skills Assessment : early to mid Nov. Check NVHAA Calendar for dates in Nov.  For all interested players. No experience required. First time players welcome.

Practices:  Normally 2-4 times a week depending upon  game schedule and facilities availability. Check NVHAA Calendar for current practice days and times.                                Location: Varies. Currently, NVHAA uses Manassas Church of the Brethren, Emmanuel Baptist School Gym, and The Rock Building Gym at Manassas Baptist Church  Games Schedule: Listed at Maxpreps, (Switch Teams on the left side of the team homepage to see the JV schedule) games weekly once season starts. Compete against homeschool and private school teams like the Front Royal Flames, CVHAA Patriots, and FHS Hawks. (Games are subject to change)

Championships: East Coast Homeschool Championships, held annually in March at Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA                                                                                               Tournaments: As available and interest. Possible additional costs.                                         Dates & Cost: Registration forms and fees $400 Due 1 Nov.  Plus annual $50 NVHAA fee. These fees are significantly lower than other homeschool athletic teams. Registration costs cover some of the following NVHAA expenses per player: game uniforms, warm ups, equipment, insurance, officials, facility lease, administration, medical equipment, concussion testing, etc.

As long as there is space, latecomers are welcome on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the head coach for information.
